Senior Spotlight: Making Connections

Isaac Loosbrock is recognized for outstanding performance in and out of the classroom.

Student council executive board; lacrosse, football and wrestling player; volunteer—what might seem like a very full plate of activities doesn’t discourage Isaac Loosbrock. “Connecting with people,” he calls it, which is something the three-team captain (for lacrosse, football and wrestling) has a knack for.

“It’s tricky [to balance everything],” says Loosbrock, who received an ExCEL award from the school for his leadership skills and community involvement last year.

With his family in his corner, Loosbrock says he knows that he has the ability to make the world a better place, and doesn’t care to let it go to waste. “I believe I can make a difference,” he says.

Loosbrock looks forward to the future. With interests in mathematics and business, he thinks he’d prefer a larger university but wants to consider all of his options.

Wherever he does land next year, Loosbrock is sure to share his passions for helping others, whether that means volunteering or helping an elderly resident with a home project, with whomever he meets as he has with the Chaska community.
