Roll into Ruby’s Roost

Situated on the Dakota Rail Regional bike trail, Ruby’s Roost Bakery has become a cult hit with walkers and cyclists alike. The all-organic, family-run bakery and coffee shop opened in April 2015, bringing specialty coffee, local foods and its famous caramel rolls to Mayer.

Owners Linnea and Bob Boyd run the bakery with help from their three daughters, baking fresh goodies every day. Boyd says she’s hopeful for even more visitors this summer with recent menu additions of sandwiches and Sebastian Joe’s ice cream.
