Celebrate Mardi Gras (Fat Tuesday) on February 28 with one of my favorite Cajun cocktails. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
Makes 1 drink
- 1 lemon, cut into four wedges
- 5 leaves fresh mint
- 1/4 oz. agave nectar
- 1 cup crushed ice
- 1 1/2 oz. spiced rum
- 1 oz. club soda, or as needed
- 1 sprig fresh mint
Muddle three lemon wedges, mint leaves, and agave nectar in a lowball glass until fragrant. Add crushed ice and rum; top with club soda. Pour mixture back and forth into a mixing glass or cocktail shaker until blended.
