Lina Holman is a spirited conversationalist. She is one of the founding partners at Waconia’s J. Carver Distillery and, with 30 years in the hospitality industry, Holman knows her product and how to tell a story. She has managed liquor stores and restaurants and is a certified sommelier.

Hidden behind an unassuming exterior along West 78th Street in Chanhassen is a long-time member of that community’s culinary history. Originally opened as an American Legion Club outpost, the location eventually morphed into the more upscale Riviera, which operated as an old-school supper club.
