To show his support for Yia’s upcoming restaurant Vinai, James Beard finalist and acclaimed chef Jorge Guzman will team up with Yia for a private dinner with two seatings featuring a collaborative menu. A portion of the sales of this event will benefit Children’s Minnesota Hematology Oncology.

Menu will include:

The 4 elements of Hmong food—Rice, Proteins, Veggie/Broth and Hot Sauce—in a "family style" dinner that showcases the ethos of Vinai.

  • Jorge's “Pollo Pollo”
  • Grilled Striped Bass with smoked tomato chili sauce
  • Smoked Hmong BBQ Pork
  • Cucumber Salad with tamarind vinaigrette
  • Char Broccoli
  • Grilled Carrots w/ Indian Curry
  • Purple sticky rice.

Served with Tiger Bite Hot Sauce, Mama Vang's Hot Sauce and Lemongrass Ginger Sauce.
