Held the first Saturday of February, this annual event attracts roughly 1,500 to 2,000 participants, spectators and visitors. It’s a winter celebration with ice skating, s’mores cookout, bonfire, horse-drawn hayride, sledding hill, door prizes and concessions. And don’t forget about the ever-popular ice-fishing contest (with more than 1,000 fishing holes drilled in the ice). Free. Noon–3 p.m. Lake Ann Park, 1456 W. 78th St., Chanhassen;
