Copland’s Appalachian Spring
April 11  The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra is headed to Wooddale Church for  a concert not to be missed. The show will open with Haydn’s “Symphony No. 80” before progressing to Vivian Fung’s “Violin Concerto,” featuring Kristin Lee on the violin for her debut with the Chamber Orchestra. The second half of the show will be comprised of Gabriela Ortiz’s “Vitrales de Ámbar” and will conclude with American composer Aaron Copland’s “Appalachian Spring,” one of the orchestra’s most famed pieces. $12–$27. 10:30 a.m. and 8 p.m. Wooddale Church, 6630 Shady Oak Road, Eden Prairie; 651.291.1144; thespco.org
