CycleHealth Kidarod

Bring out the kids for a fun and unique experience. This is a two-mile foot race that includes sliding, pulling, hiking, climbing and a chance to meet real husky sled dogs! Wayzata Chilly Open

Family Funday: Groundhog Day Celebration

Join the Minneapolis Parks and Recreation Board to celebrate Groundhog Day. Get the kids outfitted for a day partially outside, partially inside with fun crafts, games and activities. Hike the surrounding North Mississippi River Regional Park with a naturalist in search of those weather predicting woodchucks and see if we’ll get six more weeks of winter after all. 2020 Saint Paul Winter Carnival

The Winter Carnival is back for 2020! This year’s events will include ice carvings, merchandise and food sales, music and much more. Moon Glow Pedestrian Parade

Kick off the first day of the historic 2020 MN Winter Carnival with this celebration of lights. Get decked out in all your glow gear and join the parade as it makes its way from the Landmark Center to Kellogg Mall Park. Compete in this year’s new KIDS’ decorating contest by adorning your stroller, a wagon, yourself or other nonmotorized forms of transportation in light.
