Movie Night at the Ballpark

AARP Minnesota will be hosting the Fifth Annual Movie Night at the Ballpark at St. Paul’s CHS Field on August 1st, where we will be screening A League of Their Own (rated PG). Moviegoers can take in the event in the stands or they can bring a blanket to enjoy the movie from the outfield of the park. The event is free to movie-lovers of any age, family-friendly and inclusive to all, and a fantastic way to connect to the richness and heart of St. Paul.

Minnesota Reptile Show

Unleash your cold blooded side and marvel at reptiles such as snakes, lizards, turtles, frogs, chameleons, geckos, dragons and more. Gawk at small exotic mammals, such as sugar gliders, and hedgehogs or browse through various animal vendors for the latest food, cages and toys for your next pet.

Friends & Family Day at the Farm

Enjoy a picnic lunch from Wise Acre Eatery at our Tangletown Gardens Farm, 11407 County Rd 9, Plato, MN (just 40 miles west of Minneapolis). Our farm is where 95% of the food served at Wise Acre Eatery comes from and 75% of the plants offered at Tangletown Gardens are grown.

Farm guests (especially ages 3 – 10) can become farm-hands in our interactive Little Farm Hand Tour. Kids will feed the baby chickens, feed the koi fish in our aquaponics system, meet our Scottish Highland cows, see our Heritage Hogs, pasture raised Turkeys, Ducks, and Chickens.
