Beth El Synagogue is partnering with Benilde-St. Margaret’s to present an inaugural outdoor summer concert unlike any other! This unique, unified neighborhood partnership will celebrate a diverse and engaged demographic to attract music lovers of all types. The event will be headlined by the Gin Blossoms with other acts including The Big Wu!

Hammer Residences, Inc. is a Minnesota non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Founded in 1923 by Alvina Hammer, Hammer provides residential caring support for adult and children with developmental disabilities. Hammer Residences, Inc. serves more than 1500 individuals with a wide range of intellectual disabilities like Autism and Down syndrome. Hammer serves 284 people in 36 homes and 10 apartment complexes in the western metro of the Twin Cities. We also provide specialized services to more than 1,600 individuals in their homes.

Join us for Random Acts of Kindness on the Greenway in Uptown in Minneapolis! Spread ripples of compassion out into the world! You and your team of family and friends will deliver already-assembled Kits of Kindness and gather afterwards for prizes.

27th Crime Prevention Golf Classic Fundraiser

The Crime Prevention Fund is a 501c3 nonprofit. Your sponsorship, participation, and donations help fund DARE, Scholarships for Westonka and Orono HS graduates, Youth, Neighborhood and Elder Crime Prevention events, Safety Awareness and other educational programs and services that support Crime Free Safe Communities for the people and schools sever by the Orono and Minnetrista police departments.

5K 10K Rotary Strive Scholarship Taco John's Run Baby Run

This race starts at The Boatworks Commons, (4459 Lake Ave S) on beautiful White Bear Lake.  The course is flat and fast, 5K runs north along the lake to West Park and then back.  The 10K goes south to Cottage Park then North along the lake to Ramsey County Park into the White Bear Lake neighborhood before returning back to Lake Ave, and the Finish at The Boatworks Commons.  The registration includes an event T-Shirt.

Style Edina 2018

In collaboration with Explore Edina, fashion retailers from 50th & France, Galleria and Southdale Center are coming together to bring you the latest styles and fashion trends for spring. The event features pop-up shops from Edina boutiques and stores, mimosas, brunch and a fashion show where you can learn tips from local stylist Jodi Mayers.

Community Breakfast

You are invited to join your friends, neighbors and community members at the Annual Community Breakfast to benefit Western Communities Action Network (WeCAN) on Thursday, April 27, at the Gillespie Center, 2590 Commerce Boulevard in Mound.

The event will run from 7 to 8:30 a.m., with registration starting at 6:45 a.m. This year’s featured speaker is Kevin Borg, Superintendent of Westonka Schools. Borg’s topic will be “Celebrating a Century and Beyond” in recognition of the district’s centennial this year.  

Excelsior-Lake Minnetonka Historical Society Presents "Celebrating Danceland: 1904-1968"

The Excelsior-Lake Minnetonka Historical Society (ELMHS) will present “Celebrating Danceland: 1904-1968” on May 9, 2018 at the Old Log Theatre, 5185 Meadville Street, Greenwood, MN. The evening will begin at 5:30 pm with a “mini-exhibit” of historic Danceland artifacts and photos and will include Excelsior Brewing Company’s “Big Reggie’s Rootbeer,” a cash bar, gourmet popcorn, a raffle, and a trivia contest.
