Chaska’s Block Party Wagon.

Chaska’s Block Party Wagon brings neighbors together.

Sure, you waved in their general direction as you shoveled your walk last winter, but when’s the last time you had an actual conversation with the neighbors? The warmer temperatures are a perfect excuse to catch up—and if you live in Chaska, you have access to an instant party.
For the past 18 years, Chaska residents have built their neighborhood block parties around the Block Party Wagon. The wagon, which is actually a large trailer, contains 6 tables and 36 chairs, as well as a wide variety of yard games. Neighborhoods can reserve it weekends from late May through early October. The wagon is free for Chaska residents, although neighborhoods must pay a refundable $200 damage deposit when applying for the wagon, and it can’t be used for private parties or special events.
