Ridgeview Medical Center Annual Golf & Taste Celebration
June
The annual Golf & Taste event brings in money to improve health care at the Ridgeview Medical Center. The event features morning and afternoon golf sessions at Island View Golf Club in Waconia, as well as the “taste” portion, which includes samples from top local restaurants.

Schooner Days
June
The Eden Prairie Lions Club kicks off summer with a weekend of fun including carnival rides, games, a softball tournament, food, beer and bingo. It’s the perfect way to spend a summer day.

Fourth of July
July
Annual Fourth of July celebrations across the southwest metro provide fun for the whole family. City Center Park is the place to be in Chanhassen with a carnival, Taste of Chanhassen event and more. Don’t miss events including parades and pickleball at Round Lake Park in Eden Prairie, and a fireworks display over Lake Waconia.

Chaska River City Days
July
Chaska celebrates life along the Minnesota River at its annual River City Days festival. The weekend includes an art fair, triathlon, volleyball tournament, live entertainment and lots more fun for the entire family. Don’t forget to scour the city for the special Chaska medallion in the medallion hunt.

Victoria Volksfest and Art Fair
August
Victoria Volksfest and Art Fair features everything from stock car racing to games and activities for kids. Be sure to catch the famous “bed races” and fireworks displays, and don’t miss the assortment of live music and entertainment.

Pinky Swear Triathlon

August It’s a pint-sized triathlon to benefit the Pinky Swear Foundation, formerly the Miracles of Mitch Foundation. Kids ages 7 to 17 compete in miniature triathlons on Lake Ann in Chanhassen with proceeds going to the Pinky Swear Foundation.

Carver County Fair

August Celebrate agriculture and community at the annual Carver County Fair in Waconia. Play games at the midway, catch a show in the grandstand, see the 4-H animals, sample fair food and more at this fun, family-friendly event.

Edge of the Big Woods Art Wander
September
Head into the homes and studios of some of the southwest metro’s most talented artists during this weekend-long event in Victoria, Chaska, Waconia and other cities. See everyone from potters to jewelry-makers at work, and pick up some original art pieces.

Eden Prairie Art Crawl

Visitors to the Eden Prairie Art Center are invited to stop by the studios of artists working in media ranging from watercolor to ceramics, chat with the artists, and maybe even pick up a unique piece or two.

D.E.A.R. Hunting
