Butterfly Exhibits Displayed at the Meyer-Deats Conservatory

The Minnesota Landscape Arboretum will feature glass sculptures and butterflies this summer.

Two seasonal exhibits complement the beauty of summer at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. Surround yourself with butterflies native to Minnesota in the Meyer-Deats Conservatory or try to find all 32 of Craig Mitchell Smith’s delicate glass sculptures in the gardens this summer at the arboretum.

“Butterflies: Beauty in Flight” is open through August 17 with butterfly releases at 10 a.m. July 12, 19 and 26 and Aug. 2, 9 and 16. The exhibit entry fee is $3 for ages 3 and older. “Nature in Glass: The Wonders of Craig Mitchell Smith” opens May 31 and is free with Arboretum gate admission ($12 for visitors ages 13 and older).
