From camera phones to digital cameras, photography is the most easily accessible art form today. It allows photographer hopefuls, such as myself, to take a stab at the craft. Today, any and call can take a photo, edit it and share with friends. As they say, “a picture is worth a thousand words.” Photographs are powerful tools. Perhaps this is why the Arboretum Photographers Society at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum is so noteworthy. They use their interest and skill to give back to the Arboretum and share its beauty with other visitors.
“Through the Lens,” the Society’s annual juried exhibition, showcases talent. Visit the Arboretum now through April 14 to view the Society’s most treasured and noteworthy photographs from 2013. To learn more about four society members, pick up the March issue of Southwest Metro Magazine.
