Chaska Valley Family Theatre’s It’s a Wonderful Life

The Chaska Valley Family Theatre stages a popular movie.

The musical version of Frank Capra’s classic movie, It’s a Wonderful Life, hits the local stage this month thanks to the Chaska Valley Family Theatre. The community theater picked the show for its broad appeal, says co-director Bill Coldwell, adding that this show is a little less dark than the movie and is perfect for all-ages. Although there’s singing and dancing, the plot stays true to the movie—complete with bell ringing and angel wings. Performances are 7:30 p.m. November 30 and December 1, 7 and 8; and 2 p.m. December 2, 8 and 9 at the Chaska High School Theater (545 Pioneer Tr., Chaska). Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for ages 17 and younger. Tickets available at cvft.org or 952.250.7206.
