Arboretum Winter Art Fair

No need to wait for summer art fairs to experience the thrill of the hunt for that perfect piece of art, find it at the Arboretum's Winter Art Fair.  Nature inspired fine arts and crafts, jewelry, clothing, home accessories, health & beauty products and sweet & savory treats abound.  Enter through the Oswald Visitor Center and explore all the way through the Snyder Building.  The Winter Art Fair is free to the public after gate admission. Arboretum Spring Flower Show

This colorful show provides a much needed respite from the depths of winter. View the 'Up North' vignettes in the Great Hall, Fairy Garden vignette in the Great Hall balcony, Trees of the Tundra and a special tropical display in the conservatory.  Each vignette will be a feast for the senses with beautiful and fragrant springtime blooms. Interwoven into this year'ss show are crystal sculptures by artist Doona Rice. Arboretum Winter Market

January is the perfect time of year to pamper yourself, family and friends. Join us at the Arboretum's Winter market to find nourishment for the body, mind and soul with 95 vendors spread throughout the Oswald Visitor Center and Snyder Buildings. Hennepin County Master Gardener Learning Garden Tour

This annual self-guided event features a community garden and unique home gardens spanning from Edina to Minnetonka that are tended by Master Gardener volunteers. Friends & Family Day at the Farm

Enjoy a picnic lunch from Wise Acre Eatery at our Tangletown Gardens Farm, 11407 County Rd 9, Plato, MN (just 40 miles west of Minneapolis). Our farm is where 95% of the food served at Wise Acre Eatery comes from and 75% of the plants offered at Tangletown Gardens are grown.

Farm guests (especially ages 3 – 10) can become farm-hands in our interactive Little Farm Hand Tour. Kids will feed the baby chickens, feed the koi fish in our aquaponics system, meet our Scottish Highland cows, see our Heritage Hogs, pasture raised Turkeys, Ducks, and Chickens.
