Grab your fluffy friend and a donut to work it all off as you walk or run along the trail. Proceeds of this event support Secondhand Hounds, a nonprofit animal rescue in Minnesota that works to provide a safe shelter, proper veterinary care and daily necessities for pups.

The Southdale YMCA, a leading nonprofit dedicated to strengthening communities through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility, will host a Cheers to the Y event, Monday, June 24, at 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Centennial Lakes Pavilion in Edina.
Head to the Chanhassen Autoplex on the last Saturday of each month April-September for a display of collector, classic and exotic cars. Each month, the event will benefit a different charitable partner. Coffee, beverages and food will be provided by local food trucks.

If your child wants to grow up to be a veterinarian, this 3-hour program can set them down the right path. They’ll learn about surgery skills using a pretend patient, how to recognize common illnesses and what it’s like to work at a shelter. Kids grades 3-6.

Say hello to spring with the 22nd annual Arboretum 5K run/walk and 1K Daffodil Dash for kids! The certified asphalt course winds through the beautiful gardens of the Arboretum.

Earth Day is the perfect time to do some spring-cleaning and get rid of your old technology! On Saturday, April 27 Minnesota Computers for Schools is hosting a computer donation drive – drop off your old computer equipment and put it to good use in the community.
MCFS refurbishes and reuses all donated equipment. The refurbished equipment is placed in schools and educational nonprofits throughout the state.
The first 100 people to donate a computer will receive a free beer coupon to redeem at the Surly beer hall.
