Imagine learning math, science, and chemistry all while making bread or your favorite culinary dish. How about while growing and studying flowers or trees or plants? Or through sculpture, drawing, painting, interior design, graphic design, or furniture design, just to name a few.
To me the Integrated Arts Academy seems like the quintessential learning environment…how wonderful to see subjects like math, English, science, and social studies incorporated into something that makes sense and is of interest to students. Not everyone is up for learning from textbooks and lectures, and this school is a terrific alternative.
