Angela Charley: Volunteer Extraordinaire
What started out as yet another school assignment grew into a passion for volunteering for Angela Charley. In the summer of 2010, when Charley was looking for a place to volunteer for school, her sister mentioned where she used to volunteer, The PROP Shop in Eden Prairie, so Charley checked it out.
After just one day at the nonprofit resale store, Charley was hooked. She now has a staggering 740 hours of volunteer experience, and most of that number is at The PROP Shop. Even with a hectic schedule as a sophomore in high school at Benilde-St. Margaret’s, Charley says, “I still go and volunteer when I can and I enjoy every minute of it.”
