Chanhassen Gardens Add Personality to New Neighborhoods

Two Chanhassen families tore up their sod to create their own personal oasis.

When the Allard Family and the Hussey Family moved into their newly built homes several years ago, everything was perfect — except for their yards. So both families went to work, slowly and steadily creating their own personal oasis from a blank slate.

Along the way, they consulted master gardeners, garden designers and solicited help from The Mustard Seed in Chaska, and eventually — through some trial and error and a lot of hard work— their dreams became reality.
