A new 5k walk raises money for high school seniors.

Help high school seniors reach their post-secondary goals at the Southwest Metro Chamber of Commerce’s inaugural 5k for Education at the Chanhassen Recreation Center. The June 2 run/walk will raise money for the chamber of commerce’s foundation, which grants scholarships to local high school students each year. Early registration is $35 before May 11, and registration is $45 from May 12 to race day. Registration starts at 8 a.m., run/walk begins at 9 a.m. Visit the Southwest Chamber's website for details.
